Spence, a milliner and former teacher, has been stitching and making goodies to stock a pop up shop in Port Campbell for the past five summers.
She asked her daughter Clare, a musician and teacher, to design some souvenirs and thank you cards for Visitors to take home to their house/garden/pet sitters.
Spence makes most of her work by hand. Sometimes, she employs her friends to stitch too.
We employ printers from Warrnambool, Geelong and Melbourne to make the cards and tea-towels.
The Spence Australia Pop Up shop is now a permanent fixture, directly opposite the Port Campbell beach, in the old Port Campbell post office. We stock the work o
f creative artists from up and down the Great Ocean Road.
We work hard to make exceptionally high quality products. We know how lucky we are to come from such an exquisite part of the world and want every visitor to love it as much as we do.
We genuinely care about both local and global communities.
This is why we keep our production as local as we possibly can. If we ever venture offshore, you can rest easy knowing that your mementos have been made under completely ethical conditions.
